The lines are strait and their form is true
Directing us to things we only thought we knew
The road is straight and the path is high
Requiring of us everything we have inside

But it's not new, this inner test of strength
What's new is the duration of it, and length
We have overcome in this way many times before
And that we will overcome again, we are sure.
